AssemblyNearMe strives to provide reliable assembly services. We understand that plans change and offer flexible cancellation options while respecting our service providers' time and scheduling commitments.
2. Customer Cancellations
Free Cancellation Period
Customers may cancel or reschedule appointments free of charge with at least 24 hours notice before the scheduled appointment time.
Full refund will be issued if payment was already processed.
Late Cancellations (Less than 24 hours)
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may incur a cancellation fee:
- 4-24 hours notice: 25% cancellation fee
- Less than 4 hours notice: 50% cancellation fee
- No-show (no notice): 100% cancellation fee
3. Service Provider Cancellations
If a service provider needs to cancel:
- More than 24 hours notice: We will help you reschedule or find a replacement provider at no additional cost.
- Less than 24 hours notice: We will immediately find a replacement provider. If unavailable, we will reschedule at your convenience and may offer a discount on future services.
- Emergency situations: We understand emergencies happen. In case of provider illness or emergency, we will notify you immediately and work to find a replacement.
4. Rescheduling Policy
You may reschedule your appointment:
- More than 24 hours notice: Free rescheduling to any available time slot
- Less than 24 hours notice: Rescheduling fee may apply (25% of service cost)
- Same-day rescheduling: Subject to provider availability and may incur a 50% rescheduling fee

5. Refund Policy
5.1 Eligible for Full Refund
- Cancellation with more than 24 hours notice
- Service provider cancels and we cannot find a replacement
- We are unable to provide the service for any reason
- Double booking error on our part
5.2 Partial Refunds
- Late cancellation fees: As outlined in Section 2
- Unsatisfactory service: Determined on case-by-case basis after review
- Incomplete work: Prorated based on work completed
5.3 Not Eligible for Refund
- No-show appointments
- Customer changes mind after work has begun
- Customer provides incorrect information affecting service
- Issues with customer-provided furniture or equipment
- Customer interference preventing service completion
6. No-Show Policy
Customer No-Show
If a customer is not present at the scheduled appointment time:
- Service provider will wait 30 minutes
- After 30 minutes, the appointment is considered a no-show
- 100% cancellation fee applies
- Future bookings require prepayment
7. Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances
For outdoor assembly or situations affected by weather:
- Inclement weather: Free rescheduling if unsafe conditions
- Natural disasters: Free cancellation or rescheduling
- Government restrictions: Full refund or rescheduling
- Power outages: Rescheduled at no additional cost
8. Quality & Satisfaction Guarantee
Our Promise
If you are unsatisfied with our service:
- Contact us within 24 hours of service completion
- Provide details and photos if applicable
- We will review and work to resolve the issue
- Options may include repair, partial refund, or full refund
